Marketing class project
Spearheaded the launch, promotion, and management of Hollister, California's first
youth lacrosse camp. Successfully implemented a grassroots marketing campaign
that saw a 400% growth in attendance over two summers. Oversaw volunteer coaches and
devised a tailored daily schedule for campers aged 6-18, while providing informative
responses to inquiries from parents of potential participants.
Diligently engaged in daily studies of language to elevate my capacity for meaningful
connections. Orchestrated and promoted events aimed at expanding our network of
those those we taught. Generated social media content to capture the attention of
our target audience, facilitating effective outreach.
Utilizes strong communication skills by facilitating effective interaction between
diverse individuals. Adapts communication strategies to meet the needs of deaf and
hard-of-hearing students, enhancing inclusivity. Hones communication abilities and
develops capacity to tailor messages to diverse audiences, skills that are directly
transferable to the dynamic field of marketing.
Led initiatives to grow our chapter's influence by coordinating events with tech industry leaders and creating opportunities for professional development and networking. Through creative marketing and member engagement strategies, we increased membership by over 130 and built a stronger, more connected community.
